This rare, highly twisted cotton tulle is made on traditional Leavers lace machines in the UK.
We used this material, which is said to be extremely close to the tulle worn by royalty and aristocracy in the past and has long been loved by lace enthusiasts, to create a special gilet.
As it is the finest tulle, it is very finely woven and delicate, but because it is highly twisted, it is durable and easy to handle.
From our atelier's archive collection, we selected delicate chemical lace to create a collage. Leavers lace adorns the edges, and high-bobbin torsion lace is used on the back, thoroughly pursuing the beauty of lace.
The hem is made of 16-momme silk, chosen for its elegant sheen.
Tie the lace ribbons on both sides for a gilet with beautiful drapes, or wrap them around the waist and back for a stylish blouse-like look.
