This skirt is from our original "Shiro no Border Embroidery" series.
It features border embroidery with a clover motif on cotton fabric, finished soft with a grunge wash.

"Broderie anglaise" is created by making holes with an awl (borer) and then embroidering around them, resulting in a very ornate and luxurious finish. It requires delicate skill and is crafted by the handiwork of experienced artisans.

When worn as a set with a vest or blouse from the same embroidery series, it creates a very glamorous impression.
